We set this page up to make it easier in a cashless society to contribute to your church family. We understand that many times it is inconvenient to bring cash to the church or write a check as the ushers are coming forward. Through our automatic system you can send in your tithe one time or set up an auto deposit into the church account. The auto-deposit withdrawals every month the amount you designate.

There are many scriptures about tithing but the most compelling for your Pastor is Matthew 23:23-24"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices--mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law--justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.

The key point being not neglecting the former which means Jesus approves and supports tithing. Further, since Jesus also gave the temple tax, there is a strong argument that Jesus thought tithing was the minimum contribution unless you were among the destitute. Even if you are among the destitute, Jesus gave praise to the woman who gave out of her need rather than her excess. I think we must consider these scriptures when deciding with a grateful heart to give to the church. Your Pastor's annual giving for 2015 to the church was $9,440.00. Before there is a thought that the Pastor makes $94,000, the designated salary for your Pastor is $31,200. I believe in God's provision and protection. I pray you will seek the will of God in this area of your life. I admit it was a struggle for me to come to the point to give so much. But once, I began I realized just how important it was to honor this discipline of God. It humbles our hearts. It supports the Church. It supports the denomination. It supports mission. What could be a better use of God's resource than going toward the Kingdom of God. I love giving to my family church. I hope you do as well.

Blessings to you family.
